This project started out with a standard set of ideas of how a typical house is built these days. After several schemes were produced, one idea was introduced that was completely opposite of from what the house started out as. The owner wanted to pursue that scheme and this is what evolved, a modern version of a shingle style house. Different sizes and styles of wood siding as well as roof materials help accentuate particular elements. After producing construction documents the client was able to price out many different types of products allowing them to decide what was going to fit in there budget.
